Sometimes our prayers feel weak in that we do not believe that our God is great enough to answer them. We struggle to find that faith that moves mountains or believe that God can part the seas. We’ve been discouraged in waiting or receiving our answers. There is an element of questioning why? Why hasn’t it happened or come to pass? We may be looking in the wrong place for our answers, what is preconceived in our minds can’t be seen therefore we lose heart.
I John 3:21-23 21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
We remember the parable of the wedding feast (Matthew 22:1-14) where many were called but few were chosen because they were too busy to come. The Lord said to go out to the main roads to invite them to the wedding.
So we can’t be surprised if it is difficult to find those who wish to fellowship apart from an organized church corporation.
But this I do believe, that God can bring anyone He chooses to fellowship with us, if this is our desire. There are many who have prayed for various needs and are waiting for God to answer. I have no doubt He will answer if we are in right fellowship with Him.
John 9:31 (KJV)
31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
I want to stand with my brothers and sisters for those prayers that have been given to the Lord. He said if we are doing His will, He will hear us.
Your word says in Matthew 7:11 (KJV)
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
James 1:17 (KJV)
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Psalm 37:4 (KJV)
4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
I pray that Your mercy, goodness, kindness and love will bless Your children and grant them the desires of their hearts according to Your perfect will. Bring to pass that, which has been hindered by earthly circumstances, do not allow the enemy to steal away that which belongs to them. I pray for fruitful fellowship of the body of Christ where devotion and glory belongs to You. Bring a harvest in their lives so that many will glean from it. Remove any obstacles that are hidden or have been set against them. What was deemed impossible, make possible so that Your name is glorified. Bless and fill us with the joy of our salvation that we may show the world we are one and one with one another. You said You withhold no good thing to those who love You. We love You Father and cry out in Your Name to bring to pass all that the locusts have stolen. Redeem those years by making all things new. Now, we rest in Your word knowing You have heard the cry of our hearts and will answer. In the precious Name of Jesus I pray.
