What happens when we get off track? We get derailed from our destination. Our little engine decides to hop off the tracks and go where it wants to go and do what it wants to do. The trouble is…God is not in it. We go down our merry way believing that all is well until we see the gates of hell staring at us in the face.
All roads don’t lead to paradise. The flesh drives us away from going in the right direction. We begin to create our own piece of paradise like an animated computer game and become masters of our plays. It puts us in the lime light, walking on a red carpet becoming the star of the show.
Everything begins to evolve around our wants, our needs and desires rather than seeking God’s perfect will. It’s a disaster waiting to happen.
The enemy has many carrots to dangle and different types of bait. He knows what the flesh instinctively gravitates towards and knows its patterns. All this deception comes at a big price when we end up with hooks in our jaw.
The wider path seems to be getting brighter and brighter as we continue to venture but in reality it is becoming darker and darker. The blindness has set in and there is no way of knowing how far we have come away from God. We no longer can hear the voice of God’s Holy Spirit. It is only about filling those hunger pains that our flesh desires to consume.
Danger signs become distorted into Welcome signs and the procession moves on into further ambiguity. There is no infinite truth that stands secure, unwavering, without compromise. The lines are blurred, the ground is shaking but you still hold on as you fall one step at a time.
Your strength has fled into the arms of apathy, becoming an enemy of your own soul. It is worth it you tell yourself, to stumble in the darkness where no one sees. The heart is hidden in a web of deceit and lies.
Proverbs 4:19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
Psalm 94:7 Yet they say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
Jeremiah 23:24 (KJV)
24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.
The cost of finding your life to save it never materialized, debts have been paid to satan where he gladly opened the doors of evil for you. The road becomes sinking sand as it further engulfs all your dreams and turns them into hell.
Matthew 10:39 (KJV)
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
The sad part is most are living their life out till the end without a thought of giving their soul to Jesus so God’s Holy Spirit can come live inside. We can’t live for eternity with God unless we accept God’s grace and Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross who cleanses us from all sin.
They do not even care which road they take as long it is desirable to their flesh and meets their present needs.
All Jesus wants is a relationship with us, to walk with us daily, to be transformed into His likeness and to know His love for eternity. It goes against the grain of the world as they rebuke this train of thought…to surrender all.
If they truly knew our Shepherd, our Redeemer they wouldn’t be thinking that surrender was a negative and outlandish thing. Being on the Potter’s wheel is the best choice anyone can make.
How many get off track to find paradise in a hurricane that will destroy everything in its path. The destroyer Apollyon (satan) is like that. He is relentless in his attempts of stealing our identity in the Lord as God's children by making us doubt God's faithfulness.
John 10:10 (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: (Jesus) I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
There is already a great divide of the wheat and tares. The tares are becoming more and more aggressive in expressing who they have their allegiance to.
We find this in the Christian music world where horn signs are everywhere, even the major main stream “Christian” artists. No one sees or pays attention, they just want to sing along and lift their hands while the goats and wolves are strumming their tunes.
Buildings are filled with luciferian leaders posing as shepherds. No one sees or pays attention. They like it when the sheep get derailed and find themselves in a desert land filled with scorpions and snakes. We are meant to trample over them not enjoy their company.
Luke 10:19 (KJV)
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
God’s word says to examine whether we are walking in the right direction. Life is too short to find out the path you’ve been walking on is the wrong path that leads to destruction.
Psalm 119:59 59 I thought on my ways, and turned my feet unto thy testimonies.
