JESUS A HUMBLE CARPENTER SAVES THE SOULS OF MEN

December 1, 2017

So many think Jesus was just a humble carpenter, maybe even graduating to a prophet in some cultures. He stirred the hearts of many, but not enough to change the world so they imagine.

This type of ideology keeps Jesus as a man who was weak and only had His strength in wisdom of words. Others painfully stretch their ideologies to incorporate a few healing's and other minor miracles.

Jesus cannot become too grandiose otherwise He would have to materialize as God coming to earth as a baby boy birthed in a trough. How could this possibly shake the earth of sin and wash all mankind’s sin away? Human hearts find this too daunting; possibly because if it were true, it would mean admitting to their sinful nature and acknowledging Jesus nailing their sins to the cross.

This miracle of eternal salvation should have people flocking to Jesus, their true Messiah for the gift of grace that can never be earned, stolen or bought. It all had been paid for by the blood of Jesus, our perfect spotless Lamb.

Why do humans exalt men as if they were gods? Mankind is seeking for their Savior but it is not Jesus Christ. We have more people buying lottery tickets than seeking eternal salvation. They want their status quo without the Shepherd of their souls interfering with their road to the abyss. Jesus provides deliverance and yet they do not want to be rescued.

You can tell them Jesus made the universe and everything in it but it doesn’t seem to make them blink. Jesus takes everyone to the crossroads of their life because that is where life begins, at the cross.

Without believing Jesus paid for your sins and was God in flesh there is no redemption of the soul. We can’t save ourselves. That is like saying I’m going to throw in more mud in the mud pile to make it clean. And if I have to stand before the righteous holy judge of the Universe I will be forgiven for throwing more mud on the mud pile.

This rationalization to by-passes the cross of Christ is considered religious jargon which has been circulating since the time of the Pharisees. The flesh cannot be redeemed, only the soul can and Jesus is the only one that has the power to do that, if you believe His sacrifice was for you.

1 Timothy 2:5-7 (KJV)

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

John 14:6  (KJV)

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I pray that one day all will wake up, open their eyes to see who Jesus really is. God is love, pure and undefiled love. As believers we have the privilege of knowing Him through our rebirth, receiving God’s Holy Spirit in us.

Ephesians 1:15-23 (KJV)

15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,

16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

Colossians 1:15-18 (KJV)

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

John 1:3-5 (KJV)

All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

Genesis 1:24-28 (KJV)

24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
