AN IDEA FOR NEFTALI BENNETT

December 27, 2017

We will see if the United Nations is really bluffing about having a heart for the Palestinians or if they are for real. Do they really want the Palestinians to be happy or do they just want to take over Israel... period. This idea would be a good test of their words.

A bit about Neftali Bennett from Wikipedia;

Naftali Bennett (Hebrew: נַפְתָּלִי בֶּנֶט‬; born 25 March 1972) is an Israeli politician who has led the right-wing religious The Jewish Home party since 2012.

He has served as Israel's Minister of Education since 2015, and as the Minister of Diaspora Affairs since 2013. Between 2013 and 2015, he held the posts of Minister of Economy and Minister of Religious Services.

Born and raised in Haifa, the son of immigrants from the United States, Bennett served in the Sayeret Matkal and Maglan special forces units of the Israel Defense Forces, taking part in many combat operations, and subsequently became a software entrepreneur.

In 1999, he co-founded, and co-owned, the US company Cyota, operating in the anti-fraud space, focused on online banking fraud, e-commerce fraud, and phishing. The company was sold in 2005 for $145 million. He has also served as CEO of Soluto, an Israeli cloud computing service, sold in 2013 for a reported $100-130 million.

He entered politics in 2006, serving as Chief of Staff for Benjamin Netanyahu until 2008. In 2011, together with Ayelet Shaked, he co-founded the My Israel extra-parliamentary movement. In the 2013 Knesset elections, the first contested by The Jewish Home under Bennett's leadership, the party won 12 seats out of 120. (end of excerpt)

All this is to say I wrote Mr. Bennett an email. An idea entered my mind as I was reading in the Jerusalem Post. I thought the right person to share this with was Mr. Bennett, after all he is the Education Minister of Israel.

My email:

Mr. Bennett,

I am a born again Christian who follows the news each day with discretion. No one can resolve the issue of the violence between the Palestinians and Israel even though God gave Israel that land centuries ago.

I thought of the idea of creating a separate university for the Palestinian youth that will teach them engineering, design, law, education, medicine, nursing etc. Let the United Nation countries who voted against Jerusalem pay for it. Let them put their money where there mouth is. If they really care about the Palestinians then prove it. Challenge them with this. Say you will build the best University for the Palestinians and have the best educators if these 128 countries will pay for it.

I would go on every news station there is to broadcast it. See if any of these caring U.N. nations step forward or if they have a big hat with no cattle. Also this way these youth get off the streets and want to do something with their lives. Who else is going to offer free education for them?

The U.N. will eat their words and their votes against establishing the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem. I just think of how children learn from their parents whether to be prejudice or hateful.

You can take these lives and turn them around. These U.N. nations will either have to eat pie in their face or take the challenge.

Blessings!
