I initially commented and quoted this scripture on a youtube channel...

What did Jesus say about working for Him? JUST BELIEVE IN HIM, THE TRUE JESUS John 6:28-29 Therefore they said to Him, “What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent.” Isaiah 9:6 6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, ETERNAL FAITHER, Prince of Peace.

HER REPLY WAS...The problem I see is this though... Not all mind you, BUT many Christians that have the same mindset as the JW, to just sit back and wait on Christ or God to fix things for us. They spend their time praying for him to change things. Instead of getting together and saying "Hey! This world isn't going to fix itself anytime soon it seems. If we don't start working together and changing things, we're going to ruin this planet completely". There's no reason why we can't make this planet into a garden of eden again right now. If we get ourselves in gear and cooperate. It would hard.of course. The whole purpose was for us to maintain the garden of eden. Perfect bodies or not. That's mankind's problem. They expect perfection. And unless we're perfect we feel it's not possible. Mankind thinks God should do it for them. Even if we were perfect though... It would still be hard work. Personality differences will still happen etc. But people sit on their hands and pray instead of taking the initiative. I think that's what he's waiting for. To see of we'll start doing it ourselves regardless of a reward. Because how will we maintain or appreciate eden if we dont fix the mess we created in the first place. If we can't fix our own problems, why would he fix them for us. It was our fault to begin with by disobeying aparently. How many times do parents put children in a timeout for the sole purpose of thinking about what we've done...??? And when we're let out of time out we have to fix what we did wrong. If people just sit back and do nothing... Then nothing will happen. And there's proof positive of 2,000 years of waiting, just since christ. Not counting the beginning of time. It's time we get our butts in gear and correct what's happened. Nothing good happens from sitting and doing nothing. It takes one person making a change and it's a chain reaction. I've seen it myself. But the more people who forward the "sit and pray scenario", the worse things get. We've tried that already and it isn't working. God's trying to get us to help ourselves first I think. However long it takes. And I have a feeling it's gonna take the earth getting pretty dire before people realize it's up to us first. And hopefully God will intervene at some point. But as far as I see, he's not going to. And in reality, he doesnt need to if we truly think about it. I don't care if I live forever. I just want peace and happiness for as long as I'm here. And for all the ones that come after me. I think that's the major problem. People don't want to work and make the world a perfect place unless they can enjoy it all themselves forever. we've all taken the earth for granted. And he sees that. We expect him to fix our problems and by the time we figure out the reality of the situation, it may be too late. No one has ever thought of the fact that maybe he changed his mind about saving us.... He changed his mind about the Jews being his chosen people... And he killed everyone before the flood... Maybe he's thinking that again. Wouldn't be the first time. And maybe this time he doesn't care to let us know ahead of time. He certainly didn't let people know when the flood happened. I'm sure Noah wasn't able to warn everyone worldwide. It came out of nowhere for some, I'm sure. Same with Sodom and Gommorah. No warning... Just boom. In reality people don't want to work to make the world a paradise unless they know they'll be the ones enjoying it for all eternity. They're happy with the status quo with the thought that they did just enough to go to heaven... If that's what you personally believe. Do people really think they'll go to heaven by leaving the earth a mess for others to pick after they die OR on waiting for Jesus second coming to fix it all for them. And that's a very sad thing. But most are unwilling to admit that's what's going on. I myself am not sure what i believe anymore. And I think having all the answers to life isn't nessesary. Adam and eve desired knowledge.... Eating from that tree. And look what happened. They wanted to know more about God.... And be godlike. By eating that fruit. And that's exactly what people are trying to attain by reading the bible... Be more godly. More christ like. They want Secret knowledge. And look what it got them. And look what it got us. God didn't want us to know these things. Adam and eve had no bible when they were perfect. He didn't want them to know about him. Because it didn't matter. Eat from the tree of LIFE. Not from the tree of Knowledge of good and evil. What do you learn from the Bible??? What good and evil is. Think about it.

God doesn't just keep the old system of things because they are all decaying. He makes all things new.

Romans 8:22-24

For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. 23 And not only this, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. 24 For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope; for who hopes for what he already sees?

Does this mean we can be careless about being stewards of this planet which God gave us? No, not at all.

Genesis 9:1-3

And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. 2 The fear of you and the terror of you will be on every beast of the earth and on every bird of the sky; with everything that creeps on the ground, and all the fish of the sea, into your hand they are given. 3 Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant.

I love all your questions and thought processes. All the answers are in the Bible. God doesn't have secrets, men do but He reveals all secrets because He says everything that is hidden will be uncovered and will disclose the thoughts and intents of men's hearts.

Also the Bible didn't give us the evil, we messed that up in the garden; we became spiritually dead. God gave everything to Adam and Eve. They just wanted the one thing that He said- not good- evil. We were created to make free choices, not to be robots.

Micah 2:1

Woe to Oppressors

2 Woe to those who scheme iniquity,

Who work out evil on their beds!

When morning comes, they do it,

For it is in the power of their hands.

Psalm 94:7

7 They have said, “The Lord does not see,

Nor does the God of Jacob pay heed.”

1 Corinthians 4:5

5 Therefore do not go on passing judgment before the time, but wait until the Lord comes who will both bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men’s hearts; and then each man’s praise will come to him from God.

Revelation 6:14

14 The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

2 Peter 3:10

A New Heaven and Earth

10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up.

Isaiah 34:4

4 And all the host of heaven will wear away,

And the sky will be rolled up like a scroll;

All their hosts will also wither away

As a leaf withers from the vine,

Or as one withers from the fig tree.

Acts 2:20

20 ‘The sun will be turned into darkness

And the moon into blood,

Before the great and glorious day of the Lord shall come.

Matthew 24:29

The Glorious Return

29 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

Revelation 21:1-8

21 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, 4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” 5 And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” 6 Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. 7 He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. 8 But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

REVELATION 21: 22-27

I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. 25 In the daytime (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed; 26 and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it; 27 and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Okay, so we see our skies being sprayed with chemicals, floating down into our lungs and soil. If they want us to have clean air and a green environment why would they be spraying that stuff? I just think it is purely odd if they want to save the planet.

This is why prayer is important.

Ephesians 6:12

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

2 Corinthians 10:3-4

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, 4 for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.

Zechariah 4:6

6 Then he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel saying, ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.

Revelation 12:10

10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,

“Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.

Joshua 1:9

9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Zechariah 14:4-8 4 In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. 5 You will flee by the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel; yes, you will flee just as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the Lord, my God, will come, and all the holy ones with Him!

6 In that day there will be no light; the luminaries will dwindle. 7 For it will be a unique day which is known to the Lord, neither day nor night, but it will come about that at evening time there will be light. 8 And in that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter.

Zechariah 14:9-11 And the Lord will be king over all the earth; in that day the Lord will be the only one, and His name the only one. 10 All the land will be changed into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but Jerusalem will rise and remain on its site from Benjamin’s Gate as far as the place of the First Gate to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s wine presses. 11 People will live in it, and there will no longer be a curse, for Jerusalem will dwell in security.

Isaiah 10:21

21 A remnant will return, the remnant of Jacob, to the mighty God.

Isaiah 28:5

5 In that day the Lord of hosts will become a beautiful crown

And a glorious diadem to the remnant of His people;

Isaiah 37:31-32

31 The surviving remnant of the house of Judah will again take root downward and bear fruit upward. 32 For out of Jerusalem will go forth a remnant and out of Mount Zion survivors. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”’

Jeremiah 31:7

7 For thus says the Lord,

“Sing aloud with gladness for Jacob,

And shout among the chief of the nations;

Proclaim, give praise and say,

‘O Lord, save Your people,

The remnant of Israel.’

Jeremiah 50:20

20 In those days and at that time,’ declares the Lord, ‘search will be made for the iniquity of Israel, but there will be none; and for the sins of Judah, but they will not be found; for I will pardon those whom I leave as a remnant.’

Zephaniah 3:13

“The remnant of Israel will do no wrong

And tell no lies,

Nor will a deceitful tongue

Be found in their mouths;

For they will feed and lie down

With no one to make them tremble.”

Zachariah 14:12-21

12 Now this will be the plague with which the Lord will strike all the peoples who have gone to war against Jerusalem; their flesh will rot while they stand on their feet, and their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongue will rot in their mouth. 13 It will come about in that day that a great panic from the Lord will fall on them; and they will seize one another’s hand, and the hand of one will be lifted against the hand of another. 14 Judah also will fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered, gold and silver and garments in great abundance. 15 So also like this plague will be the plague on the horse, the mule, the camel, the donkey and all the cattle that will be in those camps. 16 Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths. 17 And it will be that whichever of the families of the earth does not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, there will be no rain on them. 18 If the family of Egypt does not go up or enter, then no rain will fall on them; it will be the plague with which the Lord smites the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths. 19 This will be the punishment of Egypt, and the [i]punishment of all the nations who do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths.

20 In that day there will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, “HOLY TO THE LORD.” And the cooking pots in the Lord’s house will be like the bowls before the altar. 21 Every cooking pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the Lord of hosts; and all who sacrifice will come and take of them and boil in them. And there will no longer be a Canaanite in the house of the Lord of hosts in that day.

Genesis 9:8-17

8 Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying, 9 “Now behold, I Myself do establish My covenant with you, and with your descendants after you; 10 and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you; of all that comes out of the ark, even every beast of the earth. 11 I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be cut off by the water of the flood, neither shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth.” 12 God said, “This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations; 13 I set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth. 14 It shall come about, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow will be seen in the cloud, 15 and I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and never again shall the water become a flood to destroy all flesh. 16 When the bow is in the cloud, then I will look upon it, to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” 17 And God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth.”

2 Corinthians 4:3-4

3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

As a born again believer God leads me to do His work, His will, His desire. All I want to do is bring Him glory. God has created us to be a vessel for honor. I don't want to kick against the goads, creating my own agenda when I know God's Holy Spirit can lead me to exactly where He wants me. I don't like walking into walls and having to start over.

2 Timothy 2:20-21

20 Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also vessels of wood and of earthenware, and some to honor and some to dishonor. 21 Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.

I tried to cover all your questions and thought using scripture (God's words) not mine would give much better insight. I love Jesus and having been born again at 17 years old I've learned a lot since by my own stubborn mistakes. He loves me, I know it and feel it.

John 14:27

27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.

John 7:38

38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’”
